Hole 12

A mid-length, left to right shaped par 5 that will provide plenty of birdies, and the occasional eagle chance. The fairway is one of the most undulating and interesting on the course. Tee shots with the wrong shape will bounce off into a deep swale on the left side, or into two strategically placed bunkers, or high mounds and deep rough on the right hand side. Tee shots that manage to find the fairway will often end up with a hanging lie, making shots going for the green in two tricky to negotiate. Players choosing to lay up are advised to play close to a couple of cross bunkers down the right hand side if they want to be rewarded with a flatter lie and better angle of approach for their pitch into one of the flattest greens on the course. This hole will provide some respite before the challenging finishing stretch of holes that awaits.
